FIELD SERVICE

• Operating temperature of the lubricating oil;
• Equipment temperature inspection using thermographic techniques;
• Inspection of operating pressure and pressure differential in hydraulic units;
• Inspection of the condition of silica gel breathers;
• Evaluation of the efficiency of heat exchangers;
• Visual inspection of ACIP coupling slings (when applicable);
• Inspection for potential leaks;
• Visual inspection of filter elements to check for the presence of metallic particles;
• Inspection of the maintenance conditions of hydraulic units and their respective instruments;
• Results of global casing vibration data collection (Velocity mm/s RMS);
• Results of circulating electrical current measurements;
• Inspection of grounding points for the assembly (Mill/Planetary Gearbox/Motor);
• Verification of interlocks for transmitters designed to protect against high temperatures (when applicable);
• Results of laboratory analyses, which include:
  • Karl Fisher;
  • Kinematic viscosity at 40°C – ASTM-D-445-04 and D-446-07;
  • T.A.N (Total Acid Number, mg KOH/g) – ASTM-D664;
  • Particle count – NAS-1638 classification;
  • Spectrometry;
  • Appearance;
• Evaluation of mechanical torque consumption based on inverter operational data;
• Synchronism evaluation (for Roll-to-Roll applications).

FIELD ENGINEERING

• Analyze all information collected in the field;
• Prepare a Data Book with all obtained results;
• Develop a corrective action plan.
